How did he reattach his arm?

Why is his body made of diamond, so that being punched through air by the bijuus doesn´t kill him?

And damn, seeing Gaara being awesome was the best thing in a year or so. Of course, Gaara cant kill him, that has to be the hero :/ If this was HXH, things wouldnt be that predictable, sigh.
