But those moments were rare! Like seeing Itachi pre-timeskip. When the Kyuubi took over, it felt like shit was going down. During most of the post-timeskip battles, it felt more like "okay, which flashy, but non-effective jutsu are they shooting out of their hands/eyes this time? yawn".
