Nah. Gods and angels think that even the most hard-boiled and nasty demon still has the potential for something good inside them, if given a chance. They are adorably naive in such a way, no matter how many times they are left disappointed.

Although I kind of doubt this series will ever address thing in so broad a perspective. But then again, they do have the Bahamut to worry about.

Really? Because this show and most other stories have the two sides at war with each other. Even the bible doesn't think demons can be saved.

Then why are they still there? In most stories I have seen, gods are far more powerful than demons (and generally unified), especially if the gods have God on their side, thus bringing omnipotence onto the table. Yet the demons and devils are still there. It can only be explained by the fact the folks in Heaven don't want to exterminate the demons.

It's impossible to say what's going on in this show, because there are a couple of complications to consider: The third (or fourth) side, Bahamut, which is stronger than gods and demons combined and the leaders of both gods and demons were lost in the sealing process and thus they have both been living without guidance. We haven't really seen demons and angels (gods) fight with each other in this series. They have been using the humans as proxies. Right now the gods' side is weak because they are concentrating on keeping the Bahamut sealed while the demons are actually doing the opposite.
