France and Japan. What a weird couple.
Peace.
Yup, the first japanese restaurant was opened in Paris in 1956-58 (date varies depending on the sources)
There's been some exchanges over the last 200 years, but I guess WWII and post war strifes in Japan helped some Japanese go abroad and we got some of them here in France. Among them some artists, so we got manga and anime starting quite early for example.
And now even even have JapanExpo, said to be one of the major conventions of the world.
For the record, my very young years were Goldorak (UFO Robo Grendizer), San Ku Kai, Candy Candy, Captain Future, Captain Harlock. The earliest episode I can remember was in 1978-1979, right around the time you can start to remember things as a human being.
So I guess watching anime, reading a few manga and listening to Japanese music (not that much actually), comes from the fact I've had some contact with the culture for a very long time. Even dubbed, anime and tokusatsu still pass quite a lot of cultural elements after all.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
Gohan is as much of a proxy as Yamcha, considering they`re both featured about the same amount of screen time.

At least Gohan achieved something. Yamcha is...where exactly?
They finally decided it wasn't even worth pretending he was relevant and he's not even a side character at this point.
Unfortunately, so is Tien now. Krillin is BARELY holding on at this point.
And that really hurts, but it's actually because of DBZ Abridged. Krillin is one of the best characters on that, so it'll suck that eventually, there will be a point where he's barely around anymore.
Isnīt that point ... a long time in the past?
I once mentioned it: I still hope that at some point weīll see humans getting a significant upgrade. It is ridiculous how weak humans are compared to ... ANY alien species. Iīm sure that Kuririn is the strongest human fighter. And look what that is. There really ought to be some new arc focusing on humans getting an upgrade. For example activating god-mode, too. God-mode shouldnīt be species-exclusive, since both Beerus and Goku can use it. Maybe thatīd be a way to close the gap, instantly putting Kuririn on the same/slightly below level as Goku.
Ofc Iīm saying that because Kuririn is my favorite DB-character ...

God mode is basically a form that leaks out zero Ki which changes the quality of it. Think it went along the lines of that anyway. And you can attain it simply by training in the right way. I don't think Krillin will do that because he seems happy. I just want Gohan to achieve that form. Maybe even throw in something crazy like since he is a half breed he gains the quality of two god ki or something like that. Make him relevant again. Hell...I'll even settle for Piccolo getting a God form.
I would love it so much of 18 and Krillin became important...
18 could always be relevant when we are talking about future trunks.... from what i remember she isnt an android anymore so she is not strong, but plotwise there could always be another dormant droid or something relevant to her...
right now i am waiting for future trunks to achieve god mode... he was already competent against zamasu and black, he just need a little edge... he was before a plot device for the sayians to get stronger. because of him vegeta achieved SS and the slow/fat SS too...

The fact that they brought Bulma along pretty much guarantees that the time machine is going to get destroyed and she'll have to build a new one. There's no other reason to write her going along.
Anyway, Black's identity was disappointing. So they're both just Zamasu, only they made different wishes?
Sounds like Zamasu did an Invasion of the Body Snatchers and took over Goku's Body. Maybe it's like Inu's ninja skill in Naruto, can take possession of someone body.
Uh, no, he made a wish with the Dragonballs. They swapped bodies, like what Ginyu does.
I don't fully understand why there's two Zamasu's though. I also don't understand how he could switch bodies with Goku when Goku is already dead in Trunk's timeline. The time ring only goes forward.

Saw the new episode. Dont get it. Zamasu is in Gokuīs body, ok. Whoīs in Zamasuīs body?
AND WTF?! Can somebody please explain to me why Goku and co. are thinking they have a chance at winning this time? What has changed? They didnīt get a power-up.
