I'd be more inclined to think they'd subvert group xp for comedy than innocently assuming it's a present mechanic just because.

If they were going to do that, they'd have done it already. Characters not getting any experience would have come up by now.

On a more important note: I actually think Aqua is the hottest. I love girls with blue hair and her body is pretty much perfect. Her dumbness also makes me feel pity, which makes her somewhat cute. Kazuma is in idiot for having slept in a stable next to her and never tried anything.

She's also the one that seems to have zero interest in him. Take this episode for instance. When they thought Kazuma might stay dead, Megumin and Darkness were crying, Aqua just mostly seemed annoyed. He keeps getting into suggestive situations with Darkness and Megumin, but not with Aqua.

I thought it was established Kazuma did try something and Aqua is aware of it.

I believe the joke was that she heard him masturbating and she either ignored it, or didn't understand what he was doing.
