Well, proper adult woman with proper make-up telling the man she actually loves she's willing to uselessly go through hell and die with him.
And no, I did not think about that.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
I liked the scene at the guild. Trying to get help was the first thing I imagined him doing, but when the other adventurers kept coming up with excuses to help, I got a big warm smile. He's a weirdo, but hes their weirdo. In accordance with the season, I found it to be a very "jolly" episode (sans meat shields).
Get your minds out of the gutter guys. She was trying to smile but failing.
The "everything" speech almost made me cry.
Peace.
I actually had to laugh when GS said "Don't look at me like that!!!!"
as if he was saying "WHAT THE F.."
Episode 13
-----------------
Oh snap!
That double protection by Priestess was brutal. I even hoped that she thought of it on her own accord after all this experience, so I was slightly disappointed to learn that Goblin Slayer had (fittingly) thought it up all along. Instead she kept a heal spell for him though, which is more befitting her character I guess.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
That last splashscreen <3
That last scene with the helmet was super cute.
Overall, this was a decent fun ride. I skipped the first episode entirely because of everything I heard about it, and don't feel like I missed out on anything.
Wow, can't believe something that tame could dissuade people from watching the episode. Hilarious.
Peace.
In retrospect this wasn't necessarily a bad way of rearranging the arcs. This made quite a solid ending to the season.
I feel like I got the gist of it from Priestess girl's couple of flashback moments to it throughout the series. She was in a party, they went easy on the goblins, whole party got raped and murdered.
It's less of what you missed but why you missed it. Listening to a bunch of SJWs shouting foul is not a good reason. If you watch it now, you'll see how exaggerated all of that noise was.
Peace.
Did the SJW scream at Elfen Lied? Because if they were to release that again....oh boy.
If you're trying to get me to watch the first episode by comparing it to garbage like Elfen Lied, you are wasting your time my friend.
Weird, you took their SJW-garbage as true just like that so I would've thought it doesn't take much to "convince" you - in all seriousness.
I'd actually say that the first episode was probably the best due to how it managed to easily portrait the world, their motivation, the situation they live and the enemy in less than 30 minutes. So from a "series introduction" point of view, that episode was a blast.
Isn't it a little weird in the first place to pick up a show when you don't even want to watch the first episode? Out of curiousity, what made you consider this show in the end ?

Honestly, I watch a lot of "Gifs with sound" style compilations on youtube, and kept seeing clips of GS doing cool shit. Also found Gigguk's video hilarious. So I figured "Well, other people I like find that first episode problematic, so I'll just start at episode two."
Well, see, here's the thing. Any advice that uses "SJW" as some kind of insult makes me disregard your opinion instead of theirs.
Like, any argument that included the phrases "libtard" or "snowflake" as actual attempts at an argument just causes me to assume there's nothing of value to be found in there, and to just slooooowly slide it off the desk into the trash...

Personally I find it exceptionally strange to skip the first episode, but it's not like I wouldn't have met such people in my life who would be perfectly happy watching only the second movie of a trilogy with a continuous plot or sit down to watch a new movie despite having missed the first 45 minutes from the beginning.
If I'd felt lost at any point, I might have gone back. But honestly, I never did. The plot of this show isn't exactly complex.
I never heard it until after it became a pejorative.
I don't have a problem with sex or violence. I just don't particularly care for them at the same time.
No, I got the whole thing was being sarcastic. That's one of the reasons I started watching the show.
That's exactly the point.
The people who want me to watch the episode are like "Fucking SJWs hate this episode! Watch it!"
But the people that were suggesting I not watch this weren't like, "MRA incels love this episode! Don't fucking watch it!" If they had, I would have disregarded their arguments just as quickly.
If your entire argument boils down to "You should watch this because liberals hate it!" You aren't actually arguing the value of the content, you just want me to spite-watch something for you.
