just started watching it. (ep4)
feels weird. dirty. silly in some ways.
is the kid supposed to be 15?
edit-e9: remarkably stupid and juvenile, I think that even 15 y.o. would think so. is this a bad story or a bad adaptation?
edit-e12: I think even the numbered ninja battle-question-shouters have more lines than the girl (Yoko). are they padding?
edit-e13: this is entirely stupid, contrived and devoid of human sense. are they just remaking the old anime or are they copying panels? the whole things reeks of half-cooked first draft. why say that only powerful magicians can control multiple spirits if we never see a week magician summoning just one? why establish her as a half-elf/dark-elf if the story didn't involve elves so far? why bother introducing so many story elements if they aren't going to be pay off? the tone is all over the place.
edit-e15: the daughter-lover dynamic is weird, why? not sure what the point of yoko is, has a much lines as "fourth ninja". some random guy opened his window in the middle of the battle scene to commentate on something that he didn't see. why is the show like this?
edit-e21: giving up on pretending that Yoko has a point in being an character, or the high priest. maybe the dragon will justify his existence later? can't imagine it happening. was this show done on a budget? it's really obvious when they get the 3d model to move around a lot, but the rest of the characters are nearly still images/ reaction shots.
