He couldn't cause it anymore. He's out of power constantly and hasn't got much interest in recharging his batteries. And even if he did, after using his powers for real once or twice, he would again be out of juice. He might be able to save his own life against those powerhouses we have been seeing, but I wouldn't be so sure of being able to defeat them. He most certainly wouldn't have the power reserves for a zombie apocalypse.

Probably the same superpower as Batman...MONEY.

Meme aside, probably also the brains and observational skills. He was reading the flame attacks before they engulfed him.

The dude might as well be a magician-themed Batman if I had to guess.

It ought to be relatively easy to read an X-Files cop's fortune.

Some things in the series certainly would make more sense if Corpse God wasn't the first person to transmigrate. Mainly the supernatural skills shown.

Ended with a new season announcement. I don't mind, this was decently entertaining show. It tried to have a little bit of those Baccano vibes, and although it didn't obviously quite reach such heights, it wasn't a bad attempt as such. The last episode seemed to end in a random spot, more or less, but with the second season announced, it's okay. Some interesting developments as well, even if I'm not a huge fan of flashbacks. All in all I'm not sure what to think of all the indications the other world has had an influence on Earth (not quite our Earth) before. It's kind of annoying because it means this isn't purely about the Corpse God on Earth, it's about him dealing with his old world, which he thought he left behind, still on Earth, but on the other hand, I guess it means things will be more challenging for him.

As a Narita fan, I am here for this. Big factions are now colliding, and for fucking once, the protagonist IS the strongest out of all of them due to being an otherworlder.

VAMP was like this too, but that never made it into anime.

    Peace.
