I think it'd be an interesting step. Just because we've yet to see anyone out maneuver Shino. Kankuro (I think it was his name) came close, but he was beaten at the same time, so he basically got a desperation draw game out of it.

And he got it because Shino made the mistake of thinking he was down and out. Shino hasn't been pushed to his limits yet, we haven't seen what he's really capable of.

We can get an idea for how strong Kidoumaru is by watching him fight Neji and see how far into the corner he's pushing Neji, as we've seen Neji pushed to his limits.

With Kiba we can see that too, kinda anyhow. Even with Chouji. But Shino and Shikamaru are still wild-cards.

Shikamaru has been beaten twice. The first time he couldn't move because he had to hold the other 5 sound guys there, so it wasn't so much beaten as he moved to take on too many at once. the other time, he didn't care about the match, had already shown he'd won it, and either he was 1) out of Chakra (doubt it, but never know. He didn't seem too exhausted as most seem to be when they run out of chakra). or 2) Had already shown all he could offer, knew it, and figured he'd give Temari another shot to show what she had to offer..all the while also showing he could be counted on to back down if need be.

I really wanna see both of them pushed to their limits (SHino and Shika). and simply because of that, I think Shino would win. His bugs would mean Kidou couldn't hide from him. Eating the chakra around the webbing would make it easy for Shino to escape, and the bugs could (if enough got there) eat Kidou's chakra so he couldn't properly make the arrows for his bow, or better yet, manipulate the chakra in it so the arrows would always fire a little off so Shino could avoid it easier.

If you didn't guess yet, my money is on SHino, if only because was haven't seen what he can do, and Kidoumaru by going level 2 seal has shown all his cards.
