everyone seems to be complaing about the lvl of animation. I for one believe that the one hour special is going to be the best you've ever seen (one of the best anyways) Why? cause the good animators are working on that right now, so they gave ep 65 to the crap animators.

I've taken this from another person in another Naruto Fourm. I think he says everything i was gonna say, but with better english.

looks like there are about 4 or 5 animation teams....
1.Nara animation with Gainex or Gainax: their work is the most crisp and clean, team responsible behind the awesome fight of gaara/lee and gainex likes to use some cg qualities as well... otherwise known as the "good" animation team!

2.Seoul Loft/Studio Loft responsible for the not so good animation team... works in conjunction with the korean animators...

3.Won Woo Animation: animated episode 45 (don't need to say more ne?)

4.Hee Won: if the characters look a little distorted and not drawn that well, usually those episodes are done by this group...

well, there's prolly more but too lazy to look up, and i'm not bashing or against korean animators at all, it's just that when some naruto episodes have "sub-par" animation work, usually the korean animation teams are the ones that have animated that particular episode... i realize that animation is extremely hard and sometimes tedious work, and i applaud all animators and their efforts, it's just that when one particular episode looks extremely well done, you kinda get spoiled and expect that all episodes are to be like that! budget does play a big hand in which animation team gets to do what episode, so i understand the reasoning behind the poorly drawn ones, and i can wait until the good animation team gets to show their stuff too! (although, that team is the one where i usually am extremely happy and satisfied with that particular naruto episode, the others leave me with a "meh! that was okay, is it next wednesday yet?" kind of attitude ne? )

and is just me, or did all scenes including gaara look extremely horrible? i swear, that poor boy gets the very short end of the stick when it comes to poor animation work... when others get poorly drawn you can still somehow see that it's them, but when gaara get poorly drawn... ho-boy! he just looks plain ugly then... i'd post some screen shots, but i wouldn't want to make the gaara fans scream and cry...

that's my two cents... sorry, i didn't mean to offend anyone, and if it did, that certainly wasn't my intention ne?
