I think gaara is very cool....and he&#39;s only evil because of his past, which makes him even cooler.

I think the level of excitement in the fights will really pick up once we see some more summoning being worked in; Naruto is basically a novice summoner right now and can&#39;t really control it (other than summoning Gamabunta when he&#39;s facing death on the rocks below). If Naruto ever gets around to learning how to get a cooler toad, things will be a lot better. Keep in mind you&#39;re still watching these ninjas in their beginner levels, there is still much more potential for excitement.

i read the manga and i know how the characters have developed. i don&#39;t want to give anything away, but personally, i&#39;m disappointed with some characters&#39; improvements or lack of.

I like Gaara, and I&#39;m glad Gaara&#39;s goard turned to sand and saved him. I think he makes a far better badass then Orochimaru

I dont think any characters is boring. Sure, Naruto may be using Kage Bunshin over and over, but he always find some interesting strategy to use it. Besides, Naruto&#39;s attitude is FAR from boring. He can be hilarious at times, sometimes stupid, and serious when he fights. And I think Gaara and Sakura are very cool too. If all characters would be the same, I think the anime would be somewhat boring.

Gaara is a worthless tiny boy, he weight about 85 lbs, he ain&#39;t nothing without his demon inside him (it has been said in 54, therefor, no spoil) and his sand..

Well, maybe the moves of Gaara are a bit boring, as he doesn&#39;t use for example his hands or legs to kick or punch. Sand does all the job for him. But of course he has bee training hard to get that powerful. He himself told about his father who taught him a lot. Well, maybe he&#39;s going to show something cooler in the future, at least I hope so. Otherwise I think Gaara as a person isn&#39;t boring at all. He&#39;s so mysterious and stuff like that. The only thing is that his style of fighting at the moment and so far is a bit boring in my opinion.

I&#39;ve said it and someone else in this post. I dont think Gaara has ever been in a fight that requires more than what he have done so far. Even if Lee pushed it quite well he still didnt have to do anything special..

Tho the kind of speed that Lee has is probably the key to defeating the sand shield cause it cant keep up. But as littledude said. I dont think for a second that if someone manages to crack the armor of sand that Gaara is done for.. Hehe thats probably the time when you wish you were never born for pissing him off. I think that Sasuke can do pretty well vs the Gaara we have seen so far cause he is good and he has his &quot;lame&quot;? thing the sharingan. But I very much doubt Sasuke can do much if Gaara gets super crazy and goes in to the other self like Baki and his syblings seems to be affraid of..

And please stop it with the Gaara/Naruto is lame and can only win cause they have what they have.. Eat it up thats the way it is supposed to be you know. Dont think for a second that Neji would be the nr one rookie from the last year and &quot;the strongest genin&quot; without Byakugan.. Kakashi might have been good (or obviously is) without his Sharingan but he would probably have lost vs Zabuza without it.

And whoever said that chars with only 2 or 3 moves are boring comon thats just the action hero in you that talks.. Shikamaru is a cool guy cause of the way he is.. I dont think he has that many special jutsus other than shadow binding. But he uses it with brains and makes it work.

Kage Bunshin might feel a little repetetive at times but Naruto evolve&#39;s that jutsu pretty good and comes up with pretty nifty things and combos he wouldnt be able to to otherwise..

Sasuke has his Sharingan and I live with it even tho it is not fair for someone like Lee.. Sasuke and the other &quot;bloodline&quot; boys wouldnt have been more skillful than Lee is (without the gates thing cause that is special too).. There would be no special jutsus or flashy jutsus or anything

Same thing with Gaara.. The more stronger opponents he fights that can push him beyond the standing still and just use the sand as protection and offence the more I guess he needs to evolve aswell to be able to win..

personally his &quot;technical&#39; explenation really didnt make any sense to me.
Besides the dots etc etc, there is also no structure in his sentence whatsoever.

Like Karasu said, the reason why Gaara hasn&#39;t pulled any über-cool moves is because no one so far has been good enough to force him to do anything but stand around. That&#39;s not to say that I think Gaara&#39;s Shield of Sand or Desert Graveyeard are uncool - in fact, I think they are the coolest moves in the series. You people shouldn&#39;t think for a second that Gaara is a birdboned little nothing, because he isn&#39;t. If an opponent is worth it, he will probably pull off some amazingly cool jutsus. Just because Lee couldn&#39;t force him into doing so doesn&#39;t mean he can&#39;t do it at all. &gt;_&gt;

Gaara is my favorite character in the series (followed by Shikamaru and Naruto). He has so much to him that he&#39;s hard to push aside and forget about right away. His sand attacks are interesting (I never knew you could do that with sand&#33; kinda way), and he himself is pretty cool, even if he&#39;s a little bit odd (he has reasons why I think.) . Variety is the spice of life, y&#39;know. *hugs Gaara*
