Seriously, in the Freiza saga, Frieze form 2 was over 200, 000 pl stronger than Picollo but Piccolo still won and Goku was a lot weaker than Cell and Goku was fighting evenly. You can&#39;t say that it&#39;s just about power.

And Dragon Ball is a lot less predictible than Naruto. They spent episodes of Goku training and he still doesn&#39;t have to win. In the tournaments he faces people of equal strength and he doesn&#39;t just go do a kyubi power thing, he wins by skills or loses by someone more skilled than him ex. Master Roshi vs Goku fight. If Dragon Ball was just about power then Goku wouold have lost a lot of times, a lot of his fights, he was even in power.

It&#39;s better to compare the Dragon BallZ manga to the Naruto manga. Since the manga caught up to the anime so it was dragged out.
