just gettin this straight. there is no leader of akatsuki, there a group of missin nin from each village that formed somewhere.. oh and yes, itachi is stronger than orochimaru. why? because he said it himself,..i think there is a Hyuga in the akatsuki..i duno..

Itachi doesn&#39;t want the Kyuubi chakra. AKATSUKI DOES. What Akatsuki wants doesn&#39;t necassarily reflect what ITACHI wants. </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>

If you&#39;re saying that Zabuza trapped Kakashi because he had to worry about protecting Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto - Kakashi fought Itachi when he was trying to save Kunerai and Asuma if you read that chapter

hm I don&#39;t think there will be another member of the akatsuki from Konoha. My guess would be that there is one from each of the hidden ninja villages. Who knows maybe we&#39;ll see someone from Haku&#39;s or Kimimaro&#39;s bloodline. (not sure if they are all dead)
Also I don&#39;t see where it says there is no leader. I think there has to be a mastermind behind it all. I don&#39;t think a bunch of missing-nins would just come together and form a group for no aparent reason.

Actually after reading the manga again I have to say Itachi can&#39;t be as strong as Jiraiya and the hokages. I still think he&#39;s stronger than Orochimaru but I don&#39;t think he is unstoppable. In the manga Kisame reminds Itachi that by using his eye multiple times he is also hurting himself. So he has a weakness.

I think it&#39;s starting to finally sink in. I&#39;ve said it before and I&#39;ll say it again. The sharingan is a double edged sword. The more you use the more it will hurt you. Itachi isn&#39;t invincible. I&#39;m glad that some of you people are pulling your heads out of Itachi&#39;s ass and are seeing the light. Sharingan is his greatest strength and at the same time his greates weakness.
