Well, I didnt mean to install the OS over the previous one... when you use my method it will give you an option to format the hard disk and then install the OS...

Anyways... your way is better... i forgot that i used to have a boot disk to format the the hard disk... havent formatted in a while and i usually am with my computer genious friend that helps me out in case something goes wrong
