Hmm.... Well the field can't be under the roof because it would burn the whole building and sooner or later they would all be in the center of the earth!

So why don't the blast the whole goddamn building? Well because the field just a pathetich excuse to get a real ULTIMATE VS BATTLE going with Sarutobi and Orochimaru!

Well why don't they still blast the roof? Well in reality all the characters (except Rock Lee and Shikamaru) are actually retarded. They just usually have some kind of script on what they should be doing. And well guess what! Now they don't have the script!

BUT maybe it's just that that THE CREATORS want to show us to see the ULTIMATE VS BATTLE! And there is nothing we or the characters can do about it!
