Ok, I changed the thread's title, and seeing as there's no 24 hour rule, let's get some discussion going.
Shika just continues to impress, doesn't he? I just knew he'd work out some brilliant strategy to defeat her. Will that be the end of their battle, or will it continue?
The next chapter said "Naruto vs Kim", so that suggests that Shika vs Tayuya is over. And it said "next time - the visitors" or something, so it must be talking about the ones that Kiba was referring to .... "what are they doing here?"
Overall, awesome chapter. Shika rocks.

This, my friends, is the example of a perfect chapter in the current storyline. One chapter. No pointless dialogue in between. Fast, and intense all at once.
Man that was a sweet chapter, this is why Shikamaru is my favourite character.
Everything he does is calculated, nothing that he do is meaningless, exept watching the clouds [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]... he's 200 steps ahead of the opponent, then it's pretty easy to win.

Anyway the next "Naruto vs Kimimaro, an irregular happening inthe midst of battle!; Next issue, 'The Visitors" really really got my hopes up. Please let my crackpot theory be right, Please let my crackpot theory be right!!!! Muhahahahahahahahah (*I'm losing it here) .... Muhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha haha.

I think this chapter sucked, but I'm glad it's over with. Kishimoto made it seem as if Shika could tell the future. Throwing a kunai down so that Tayuya could pick it up. What BS!!! How many nins pick up other nin's kunai. They usually pull one out of their fanny pack. Just such B.S.
I bet shika could beat anybody and I mean anybody. Shika could beat Jaraiya, Oro, Tsunade, Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, just anybody. Why? Because he can see the future. He knows that if he drops something someone will pick it up.
All you sharingan lovers out there, you should all be pissed off, becaue shika just ripped Itachi and Sasuke a new one. Shika's insight is better than both Itachi and Sasuke put together. Shika knew what Tayuya would be doing, before she did it.
I don't think it's really about telling the future.. More like, being able to decipher the opponents weakness by analysis and then moving based on that. It's all really about judgement.
