I don't like the animation style! and some of those scenes were horrible.
The original series has a better look to the series, more gritty and medieval (which is the setting).
Although, this is just through previews will wait for the final decision when it's released.

As Kraco mentioned "For various reasons the old series had the foreboding feeling hanging above it, and I'd wish not to lose that. "
I hope it doesn't lose it either.
The soundtrack for the original Berserk TV series was awesome.

On another (great) note, new Berserk chapter should be out within the next couple days.
