ova 2 = death of kenshin
supposed to be what happened after the manga
death = makes kenshin more human = good
but yeah ... if you dont like drama dont watch OVA 2
PS. i have heard theories that vary from the anime actually out paced the manga to some disagreement at the top about how to develope the series. In the end doesnt really matter.
Err, what do you mean? Kenshin didn't died in the manga, but in the OVA2 which is not following the manga he did, manga is original and best, the authentic shit, he did not died in the manga so that's the thing that we should acknowledge, not that he died like in OVA2
Anime, manga, movies, books and comics. They are all different forms to tell stories. If the manga differs from the anime, don't hold it against the anime. Treat them as individual stories, don't relate them to each other. The anime being well done (not if it was accurate) should be your focus.
Despite the fact that I despise most dramas, I found that the humanity it displayed in Kenshin and the emotions in Kaoru were absolutely amazing. This was a great way to finish off the OVA series.
Then my friend, I'll have to say that you're alone, OVA2 was a big mistake according to everyone who "knows" kenshin... it was not watsuki's idea! god damnit, he should've been the one to choose.
Well, then there's two of us being alone. I liked how Kenshin died, it ended everything. Although it wasn't in the manga it was still worthy. Just 'cause the manga is, as you say, "the authentic shit" doesn't mean the story is limited to it.
Oh, and everything after the shishio ark was total bullshit of fillers.. annoying stuff. Just like that episode where naruto was going to the stadium *sigh*
