ep 80 and before were based on our translators best effort to figure out what the hell they were saying.

Ep 81+ use official lyrics.

Unless you want to argue with the original artist about what they were saying, I'd recommend paying attention to the 81+ lyrics, because they're "correct"

Before ep 81 however, official lyrics didn't exist, so nobody was right or wrong.

This happens with almost every op/ed song in every anime that anyone subs. The question is whether a group will take up the official lyrics when they come out or not. We always do.
