Hello all, I've been away for awhile, but that's cuz this semester's been motherfucking hectic. I'll bore you guys with that later. My birthday is Dec. 8th, and this year, someone somewhere thought it would be a cool fucking joke to kill Dimebag Darrell as a present. I can't imagine that anyone who would even bother looking in a metal thread should need an introduction to this man, but I'll give it anyway, just in case. Dimebag Darrell aka Darrell Abbott was the guitar player for Pantera, one of the awesomest bands ever to grace the earth. When Pantera broke up, he and his brother formed Damageplan, which is an extremely cool band in its own right. As I've already stated, he died on december 8th of this year. Some fucktard decided to walk on stage and shoot him 5 times all in his midsection. The murderer was shot to death by some cop, but not before he took out three other people.
That's the gist of it. So I'm here to voice my grievances. Its too fucking bad that bastard got killed at that concert with the gentleness of bullet. I swear I'd kill the guy myself if given the chance. Too bad, right? Well whatever. I'm filled with grief. Sure I didn't really know the guy personally, but I feel that through his music, I somehow did. Pantera's music has been so important to me for years. Always enhanced a good mood. Always alleviated a bad one, or helped me to focus. It's pathetic that I don't have the words to explain this. Anyway, RIP Dime. As I'm sure has been said millions of times since last wednesday, you'll be missed, sorely missed.
If anyone actually care, I'm currently preparing for finals and I'll be back in a couple of weeks. Take good care everyone.
