Well they killed of Kimimaro, and I think given the proper backstory he could have made a great villain. But I don't think Neji will die.

And to whoever said they want Sasuke to die, do you really believe that will happen? Come on now.
god damnit, kimimaro was such a cool character. his fight style and bloodline abilities were waaay sick (and so was he, unfortunately). i wish kishimoto gave kimimaro more screen time since he was first mentioned 40+ chapters ago. i wanted a 'i will be replacing you' type of fight between kimimaro and sasuke after sasuke's lvl 2 deal. but oh well, i'm not happy with how kimimaro's ending was but it wasn't too bad. it was actually really sad to see kimimaro die. he had such loyalty and love for orochimaru yet, orochimaru didn't really care at all. =(
