in response to tensai, i think it more than likley is better than chidori, as a)jira says it is b) he only performed a weak version of it and d) from the description (wich is probly wide of the mark anyway!!) he described it as a rotation of chakra, there fore theres a good chance the chakra comes back to the body. not wasting any. also if naruto becomse profecient with it he will be able to do it from both his hands and hit feet one would imagine. also he may be able to do it on any part of his body. who knows later it could even lead to a defense.
