Shin Otaku is better.

Well actually, the fastest group is the best. Since I go for story instead of quality, the quality doesn't really matter. I'll download the first one released on thursdays.

The translations I don't really care about because none of them are perfect. It's impossible to translate Japanese to English literally because oriental languages just don't work the same way as Latin-based languages. This is not like going from French to English. This is going from a very poetic language to a very technical language. I know this because I'm Chinese and this is obvious to me when I try to translate some things orally.

Although ANBU has great quality and translations, their subs usually come out 2+ days later than the rest, and I don't have the time to wait. Akusei was the first last week, and surprisingly it was GREAT.

well, if thats the case, then why dont you just dl the manga, and then use that to translate the raws that come out an hour or so after they air in japan on wednesdays?

So if you are watching Naruto for the storyline, then you are probably watching 2 versions of the story...
because at least we know that ANBU translations are 99.99% acurate with the Naruto Manga. And S-O is not.

you just read the chapter first and then watch the raw. The manga's the way to go if you want just the story anyway, since it has none of the filler stuff the anime has.

I like watching the episodes because they have color, animation and sound. I'm not the reading type. I was never into comics, so watching the episodes is a better experience, TO ME that is.

And regarding the qualities, they're both pretty bad. I'm just impatient so I'll take what comes first. If ANBU would release it fast like these groups them I'd get their version without hesitation. I voted SO mainly because the colors in their subs are more vivid in a way. Bakafish's look dull.

I want the story in video form. I was referring to Bakafish and SO's subs, and I said I go for story instead of quality, and although their translations might be different, the rough ideas are the same. I have subs from all kinds of groups because I had to download the old episodes (like 1-50) from DC++, and I just went for the fastest download. Those groups' translations are all fairly different, but I understood the main points, so that's what I mean by story. Knowing what's happening. It's the main ideas that make up a story, not grammar.

Since I care more about the main ideas, the quality is what separates SO from Bakafish. Hope that makes sense to you.

Alright, anyways, (Bakafish translator), yeah, I'm in Germany until mid August or so, and can't translate, so out of the two, I'd have to say S-O because they can actually sub while we can't for the time being, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I replace our versions with A-A anyways. We're just trying to give people a small fix, (like heroin, you know?), before the groups with higher quality come out.
