I really hate the attitude towards drinking here in america. Most young people see it as the forbidden elixer of the adult world. Because it is illegal for them to drink it encourages them to drink far more. Since it's a taboo it makes them feel like such badasses breaking the law and consuming excess quantities of alcohol.
From what I hear people in other countries with a lower drinking age of about 16 or 18 are much more responsible with their drinking since it's not a forbidden fruit. As opposed to hear where everyone really just becomes an asshole. Grrr I hate drunks. One time some drunk people stole my Cacti garden but I was lucky to get it back by putting up flyes.
