    i think he's just buying time with all these minor fights. even the big 3 fights (not including the king) are being dragged on. for the past 6 months all we've seen is each character going over every single possibility of thier action and then watching as something they didn't think of happens....and then it starts all over again.

    HxH officially has the most dragged out fights ever.

    I don't know...with all these breaks and stuff; this arc has been going on for like a year. Like, in Bleach, there will be a low level fight, or high level fight and there is fighting, but then there's like a backstory and random powerup. So far in this arc, we get to know the intimate thoughts of every minor character and thing, and whats going on...I almost forgot that they came there to assassinate Perfect Cell...I mean the king, and that'll probably take like 5 more years.

    Oh so you would take meaningless fights over plot progress or character development . You guys should really just do what I do and read HxH by the volume, it really is much better that way.

    That's what I'm planning to do...but this recent "development" is like almost pointless. I don't need to know how so-and-so feels about the personal development of his abilities for like 3 chapters. At some point, I want to see some sort of tangible outcome, which this series was good at until the mangaka got sick and stuff...

    I am getting accustomed to this psychological warfare, as to what could have happened if character X did something else (i guess mangaka had lots of time to think about it in his head). This makes HxH truly unique.
