Is it a good idea to have like....a massive fluorescent light as your main bedroom illumination?

I dunno...at the very least it doesn't seem very feng shui, since fluorescent light distorts the natural colors of objects.

The "be a longhorn" poster is for motivation, though it doesn't seem to be working. I'm going to visit campus next time I'm in the area, to get more motivated.

Those are shorts. Bed is always messy because why bother. It's only simple because I moved in 4 months ago so most of what little I have over here is still in boxes or was shipped home or sold.

Actually there are two of those fluorescent light strips in the room, with the remaining third of the room left out of the picture. It's not just a bedroom, it's the entire living space afforded to me. It's called a containerized housing unit, so I can't really be choosy about anything. It beats living in a tent like some of the poor bastards at some places out here.

@Assassin: that makes more sense. At first I thought it was baby talk.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

@IFHTT: nice room, love the guitar and entertainment setup, but that TV needs a bullet through the tube and at least a flatscreen to replace it.

@Sapphire: I would love to run into you at UT. If you're anything like the person you seem to be on these forums, we'd definitely have to hang out sometime.
Your room seems kind of sparse. What's with that chair? Why does the room seem so "non-personalized"?

What's with the lack of posters in everyone's rooms? Are they considered tacky or something?

Thanks, I agree with you, I'd like to take this TV out back and unload a few rounds in it. I have been on the market for a new HD set for a while, just never seem to have enough spare cash

Also, I've got posters of various bands and such, but I haven't got around to putting them back up after painting...
