Of the above choices, I chose Suikoden 1.
My all time favorite list though (in order) is:
1) FF4j/FF2us
2) FF6j/FF3us
3) Suikoden 1
4) Suikoden 2
5) FF7

I like FF7 as well.

Damn right. Cecil and Kane were awesome. You can't forget Edge though, the coolest ninja ever!

I've never met someone that said FF isn't a real RPG... FF is the backbone of the RPG industry. So many people rip off FF bits and pieces that it just wouldn't be the same industry without it. Now games like Zelda... not really an RPG in my mind.
