Jiraiya is a sannin. He sees all. Knows all. Or something. Anyways, this was a good chapter. Naruto's character shines brightly, and I can't help but think more highly of it, because of that.
But, I want to see Sasuke's progression w/Oro more than Naruto/Jiraiya and Sakura/Tsunade. Simply because you know he hates Oro's guts deep down, and is only using him. Jiraiya and Naruto, you know get along very well (kind of..) and Sakura/Tsunade will be easy, because of how obidient Sakura is.
remember how tsunade had that jacket that said "gambling"? well, i guess you can see taht sakura is gonna be wearing that "fighting spirit" jacket like tsunade soon.... Time jump = super cool. i hope naruto gets a new set of clothes, anything thats better than a trashy orange jumpsuit. (even a black jumpsuit would be fine)
i dont think it will be a full 3 years later time jump, most likely we will see some of the training because it makes it more interesting to the reader and easier for kishimoto since he can forget about the story for a couple of chapters. also didnt kakashi say that if sasuke relied too much on the cursed seal he wouldnt grow as much? i think after 3 years naruto will be on level with sasuke and both be around ANBU level since they have craploads of potential. I think naruto will keep jis jumpsuit but it will an upgraded jumpsuit.
If there is a time jump, which it certainly looks like there will be, Im honestly more interested in what happens to all the side characters during that time than Team 7. Konohamaru and co. will have graduated (i think), Shikamaru will have been leading missions, there will have been 6 more chuunin exams, etc. I wouldnt be surprised to see a few of the others such as Neji, Shino, and Tenten to be Chuunins or ANBU. They will all be about 16-18 give or take, so Ill bet relationships will have begun to form. Akamaru will probably grow some and be closer to the size of Kiba's mom's dog. We might see something involving Hinata and Hanabi, now that Hanabi will be 3 years older and probably out of the acadamy.
My guess is that he will spend the next 4 chapters to finish wrapping everything up in town and then use volume 28 as a gradual time jump. Volume 29 will start the next arc 2.5 to 3 years later.

wow, the manga could shift in any direction now. lots of different things and hopefully it would be good.

But soo predictible. Anyway, I hope the time jump won't be a straight 3-year jump and thousands of flashbacks, but more as one say : from time to time stops in the time jump to see what happens in their training and in Konoha.
Plus, I really want to know how Neji, Chouji, Rock Lee, Shino (even if he isn't a secondary character), Gaara, Temari and Shikamaru are doing in the meantime. I can't imagine Kishimoto skipping these guys.
Aahhhhhhh I want to know what they'll look like !!!
