Why are you playing on an US server Nai?
Funny story regarding BG queues, I put myself in one for Arathi Basin today... average waiting time "10 minutes". So I was like "okay I'll just go explore a bit", I went to Searing Gorge and did a few quests, then I remembered "wtf what about battlegrounds?" and I had been playing for 3 hours. Average waiting time 10 minutes MY ASS.

As for waiting times, yeah, they tend to be pretty fucking bad. My record would be around 8 hours. Oh well, today Redridge suffered my wrath as I declared the town mine and butchered everyone I could until I was chased out of the town like some witch by a whole alliance raid.

On my server, it's like...for every one horde you get two alliance so the hordes don't have to wait long to queue in. Can't say the same for the allies. It pretty much sucks because people take advantage of the fast queue and just afk once they get inside the bg, thus the reason we lose. Technically it is 15 v. 15 but in actuality it is more like 15 v. 13.
I love battlegrounds, especially AB. It is definitely one of my favorite things about WoW.

I thought when someone enters a BG and afk's they get kicked out. IMO AB is the best for horde, I still have to try AV cause most of the poeple in my guild tend to go there due to the uber cheapness epic mount..640g for an epic mount...*drool
edit: it's a standard 800g, 640 due to the 20% discount.
You're right. They have the deserter thing going on but people have mods or something that make them move once in a while so they don't afk out of the battleground. LAME!!

Had a hilarious Zul'Farrak run today, a guy in our group didn't know english very well so he kept fucking us over and choosing Need on all items. Needless to say we hated his guts. But I've reached level 48 now, and also acquired a +20 agility mail
