On the subject of Rin, she did appear to be rather useless, but let's put a few things into perspective. A) Medical Ninjas and combat don't really go together. Tsunade and Kabuto are the MOST EXCEPTIONAL medical ninjas in the series. It's probably always been Rin's job to sit out on the sidelines and wait for the fight to end so she can heal her teammates. However, I hardly think she's as weak as everyone assumes. Please note the markings on her face, she's from Kiba's clan. That would make her very annoying to fight. Unless, of course, you're Jounin level. Here we see Kakashi, and he's good, but he's at the bottom tier of the jounin level right now, most likely, and he's the most powerful one on the team, the fourth aside. What chance did she really have at this point?
