no sasuke not killing itachi would be for the best if sasuke reaches success by going the easy way for power the whole theme of this show is ruined protecting the ones you love gives you true power and that can overcome all. if sasuke doesnt go narutos way about things he will never kill itachi. and thats how it should be, the best would be if sasuke gets his ass whooped by itachi and then naruto comes and saves sasuke from being killed by defeating itachi so sasuke realizes that you can only get true power form friendship. as for your idea with the flash forward in the last ep that would be a nice touch in the ending credits we see like a time jump 10 years into the future with all the chracters and shit.
