The characters look kind of low quality in that picture (not the drawing style but the technical picture quality), although it might be the some sort of effect used on the pic as well. And in the end as much as I like Black Star's character, only girls are really welcome onto my desktop... Thanks for the offer, though.
The credit wouldn't really matter in any case since I always cut the character out of whatever background there might originally have, and place it on plain windows blue colour. If you have a look at the past screenshots I've posted here, it's always like that.

Considering how often he would likely see that image on a daily basis he has a right to be. My avatar is my current desktop, its twice the size and centered with a black background, its surprisingly striking.

this should not be very shocking to most of you... (nor is it close to being the best desktop image in this thread. it is, however, the best one of its kind I could find...)
but it is the first actual non-default background i've had since "Kid Throwing Rock at Tank"... which was also I think the last time I posted in this thread.
btw, does anyone know if/how you can search a thread for posts you made?

I think you use the "Search this thread" tool, select advanced search and then write your nick on the right box for "posts by this user"

...and sadly, Takano fanart is not that plentiful. I'd have to make the background myself. The avatar to the left is cropped from a hentai cover. Much like Kraco, that's out of the question for a desktop.
In the end, I like ARIA backgrounds (as above) the most.
Haha, that was from Aria? I totally failed to notice. Somehow a pic that dark didn't connect with Aria in my head, but now that I had a second look with the knowledge, I can certainly see it.
