    yeah a couple of episodes in it will show luffy's past so don't worry about it not being there

    yeah, i just saw it in ep 4
    it was a little different than i was expecting

    in the manga

    luffy stabbed himself in the face to get the scar on his face to show that he was brave enough to become a pirate
    but they didnt show him stabbing himself in the anime, im guessing that it might be too gory for the type of audience one piece is aiming for
