i know last time some ppl speculated that it was a code phrase incase the trio got out of control or something, but considering we haven't seen similar situations for sting and aeul, i dont really buy that.
personally i think somethign probably happened in her childhood....like her parents got shot in front of her, and she was threatened when she cried/screamed. most likely neo saved her and said he'd protect her, hence the flashbacks when shinn said the same thing. can't wait to find out what the deal is.
The only reason we haven't seen Sting or Auel freeze up is cos their codewords are different...
Seeing as Destiny is turning out pretty much to be a carbon copy of Seed, I can see that the codewords are going to be 'found out' by the Minerva/Archangel, used in combat against the EA Gundams.
Since Sting seems like a copy of Dearka, he will then be captured and made to see the other side of the conflict. He will then switch sides, with Auel being the only remaining 'bad' gundam pilot, only for him to also switch sides at the last minute (think Yzak)...
