No blood coming out of the huge gaping holes in Kimimaro's skin all over his body, what the fuck? Knowing how lazy the Naruto animators are, it can safely be assumed that they forgot to put it in. Animation was a "bit" better, but still shitty.
Oh yea, a team of animators forgot that people are made of blood inside...whatever. There was some blood, but seeing as though all the flesh was sealed inside bone it's not that hard to rationalize why they didn't add more.

btw, DB's version called the film of bone a "mask?" lol...
