The fight begins, and naruto+co. will be able to escape in the middle of the fight while Itachi is preoccupied w/ oro and sasuke. at least thats what I think is gonna happen...and to me, it makes sense since kishimoto has to have sasuke show up sooner or later, and this timing is quite perfect for his entrance.
I don't see any chance of that happening simply because it changes the entire arc and current plotline. This arc is about Akatsuki's ambitions and currently a race to save Gaara. If Sasuke and Oro show up now, it would mean getting very far off track from the current plot.

I don't think we will be seeing Sasuke anytime soon except in some cameos or flashbacks.
