I haven't been back to a full-serve station since I started going to self-serve stations 10 years ago. I don't see that many full-serve stations any more but I know of at least one self-serve that offers full service for a few cents more per litre and there is a full-serve by my house which is across the street from a self-serve and there's only a 0.4 cent price difference between them.Originally Posted by Buffalobiian
What's the point? So you can just sit in your car? Its not like you can fill up and leave the gas station any faster than if you did it yourself. Seems novel, but I'd rather step outside anyway.

While I think full service is just laziness on the part of the elite, I imagine it's like buying off the rack versus getting a tailored suit. Nothing says "disposable income" like paying someone to pump your gas and wash your windshield while you idle away the time in your leather seats listening to music. Makes one feel "better" than others.
