    I think that's too coincedental. Besides could he not have reappeared with a previous jinchuuriki? Or was Gaara the only one he was with?

    Shukaku was previously sealed in a sand priest, and was transferred from his ashes to Gaara, so unless Kishimoto is retconning again, there was indeed a former jinchuuriki.
