So, I'm guessing the four titular characters are all supposed to be takes on various fairy tale women.

Ruby is Red Riding Hood.

Weiss is Snow White.

I'm assuming Yellow is Goldielocks. No idea who Black is supposed to be.

well, usually Snow White features black hair, so I´d rather Black as Snow White. Even though the name fits better, yeah.
But then I have no idea, who White could be.
