Well Minato does need an active seal near or at the battle to warp there. Maybe there is no seals near there. Maybe he never quite had a seal in that area. Or it got destroyed or dispelled over time etc. But yes I believe they could quickly reach that battle field. Minato can even bring others with him if he did have an active seal around that area.
He has a seal on Naruto. And unless they are removable, he also has one on Obito and one on Killer Bee.
