    Just a question before I complain: Are we supposed to think that Ashura was inside Naruto from the beginning of the series? Thus betraying whatever notion of "hardware vs genius" ever existed?

    Well, considering that Ashura in his first incarnation wasn't a genius, I don't really see how this is a big deal.

    It only betrays that notion if you completely ignore the descriptions of Ashura and Indra given in the previous chapter.
